Know all men by there presents that I Temperance
Randall of Southampton County for and in consideration
of the Natural Love and affection which I have and do bear
toward my daughter Temperance Randall and also for
divers other good causes and considerations have given and
Granted unto my said Daughter Temperance Randall Jr.
One Negro Boy Daniel & One Negro girl Fillis and all her
future increase.  To have and to hold the said negroes 
Daniel and Fillis & increase afore said unto the said 
Temperance Randall Her Him and assign to the only proper
use and behoof of her the said Temperance Randall her Him
and assigns Forever. In Witness I the said Temperance
Randall have hereto set my hand and Seal this ninth day of
January One thousand and seven hundred and Ninety Six.
